Christmas Upon the Tyne

Enjoy the best that the North East has to offer across the festive break with a Christmas ‘Tyne side’, full of Geordie flare.

 
Itinerary Highlights–

• Outward travel to our host town, Washington, enroute we shall enjoy a scenic tour through some of Yorkshire’s spectacular scenery taking in Thirsk, Leyburn and Richmond, before arriving at the hotel to enjoy the start of the Christmas Festivities with a hot drink and mince pies on arrival.  The evening includes a delicious meal and entertainment.
• Christmas Eve: As the anticipation before the big day rises, pick to spend the day in the historical city of Durham or travel back in time and visit Beamish, the living museum of the North (AE).  Return to the hotel for our evening meal & entertainment.
• Christmas Day: The day is at your leisure to enjoy the hotel’s superb facilities.  A traditional Christmas Lunch will be provided as well as afternoon entertainment and an evening meal (for those with room!).
• Boxing Day: Following a lazy morning we will depart to the ‘big city’, Newcastle Upon Tyne.  Here you can enjoy top class shopping, dazzling culture, world acclaimed architecture, all wrapped up in a ribbon of famous Geordie friendliness. 
• Today we head home after a lovely holiday with a short stop enroute in York a wonderful city to visit when it’s all dressed up for Christmas!
